Introducing…Connect the Dots (DC)
By way of Rockville, Maryland, Connect the Dots is our bonus addition to the festival, featuring Peter Tran and Mikey Coltun (ages 19 and 17 respectively). The two met in the Jazz Band of Wootton High School and when asked to describe their music, they said “If Ali Farka Toure got a drum machine and listened to Naked City, it still wouldn’t describe what we sound like.”
